My name is Carina — I’m a self-taught artist who’s been creating

for 21 years and counting. My art is a colorful collision of styles,

mediums, and wild inspiration — from pencil sketches and paint

splashes to digital magic, miscellaneous crafts, and mesmerizing

abstract pours.  ​

Inspiration comes from everywhere: colors that catch my eye,

holidays and traditions, my culture, music, movies, the Arizona

desert I call home — and sometimes, from dreams that feel

almost too real to ignore.

I’ve always had vivid, story-like dreams filled with color, emotion, and

strange little symbols that linger in my mind long after I wake up. They often sneak into my work in subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways, adding an extra layer of meaning I love exploring. ​
